Countrywide Home Loans and Jenny Clough, along with Eastland Cafe, are excited to present a special Lappy Hour. To celebrate all things October, we're combining a little German with a little Halloween for a whole lot of fun for you and your dog.

In addition to the usual fun and fare, there will be some really great prizes which will be awarded in the following categories: best costume (dog only;) best costume (dog and human together;) best dog trick, and for the dog with the best smile. And Eastland Cafe promises some special fall dishes added to the menu.

Contests will be held in the parking lot and the judging begins at 6:00. Get there early, though, to get a table. Patio opens at 5:00. In case of hard rain, event will be held on October 9. Call the restaurant if there's any doubt at 627-1088.
